*Miscellaneous inert debris includes small pieces of plastic, glass, metal, etc, typically less than 3/8." In an effort to recycle and re-use green waste from local sources, we use composted green waste in our bulk soil mixes. It is derived from yard trimmings, including: chipped, shredded, or ground vegetaion collected from curb side services. The compost passes through a 3/8" screen; any debris smaller than that can pass through the screen and into the bulk compost (occassionally glass, plastic, or metal wire). Composted green waste is produced at a fully permitted and regulated Compost facility.
